Senior Planner

As a Senior Planner you will have a solid agency planning background with experience of developing strategic integrated marketing campaigns and programmes across multiple channels. You’ll be adept at demand generation, understanding prospect profiles, buying behaviours and have strong understanding of the lead management process, including how sales and marketing align – but more so, you’ll excel at campaign planning for international, multi-channel and multi-touch campaigns from first-touch to nurture and sales-close.

The Senior Planner role requires creative and analytical thinking combined with excellent consultancy capability. You’ll have experience of understanding personas, messaging and defining communications frameworks as well as proposition development. You’ll also be well versed in the digital channel mix, including intent platforms, display, programmatic, search and social, and be able to make media recommendations as part of campaign planning.

You’ll be comfortable drawing knowledge and insight from data sources, analysing behavioural trends, executing quantitative and qualitative research, including distilling and presenting findings in an informative, straightforward and compelling way.

Campaign Manager

The Campaign Manager works closely with the Account Director to deliver client strategy and campaign planning for all activity. You’ll be expected to manage internal resources and ensure that all work is delivered to the highest standards. As a self-starter, great communicator and a team player, you will be directing clients on content strategy, lead generation (acquisition) and email marketing, including digital and offline channels. You’ll also manage client’s marketing automation systems such as Pardot or Marketo, content creation and social media channels.

You’ll be expected to plan campaign activity, recommend strategy and oversee the delivery of activity from taking the brief, writing proposals and presenting creative work to your clients. You’ll need to be super-organised, understand the principles of project management and be a strong communicator. As part of the client service team, you’ll be expected to be a quick thinker, highly motivated and be a natural leader as well as focussed on delivering to the highest standards.

Strategy Director

As the lead strategist, you’ll have a solid agency background and be well versed in using, creating and developing strategic frameworks and models, including applying of them to shape and define client strategy in complex and innovative markets. You’ll have experience of business transformation, digital transformation, customer experience and communications strategies – all underpinned with strong change management and stakeholder management to ensure successful strategic delivery. In addition, you’ll be well versed at understanding market insights to inform business and communications strategies for clients, including leading qualitative and quantitative research.

Marketing Automation Practice Lead

The Marketing Automation Practice Lead is a new role to help shape the growth of MarTech solutions at Modern. This Marketing Automation Practice Lead is pivotal in scaling the team, supporting operationally and shaping marketing automation strategy for Modern’s clients.

As a Marketing Automation Practice Lead you will have a passion for marketing automation and business transformation. You’ll have a deep understanding of how businesses structure their marketing operations systems to deliver against business requirements and objectives – and the role the marketing automation platform and CRM plays within that.

You’ll be well versed in understanding database management, GDPR, pipeline management and lead processes including interrogating CRM data and reporting, and overall prospect and customer engagement in order to advise clients at a strategic level and ensure that their systems meet their business needs.
